Our Consistent, Precise Process

Success doesn’t need
to be complicated.

Our expertise and experience allows for a simplified experience from planning and surgery to delivery of the final tooth, minimizing complications, discomfort, and frustration.

Diagnosis & Planning

3D imaging, intraoral scans, and a complete clinical evaluation. Dr. Schelkopf personally designs the case — with the final result in mind, with the implant placement guided from the plan for final tooth, ensuring the proper foundation for an ideal outcome.

Implant Surgery

The surgical phase can make or break the entire case. In our hands, the implant placement is not only delivered with a gentle touch, but our planning and precise management sets the table beautifully for the final result. You will never leave our office without a temporary tooth in place, and our expertise lends itself to an approach which reduces chair time, leads to a seamless healing period, and provides a better overall experience.

Final Restoration

After healing and integration, the final ceramic restoration is carefully designed and installed to seamlessly coexist with the rest of your natural teeth. The proper planning and precision from the beginning is what allows for a seamless delivery of the final result.

Tailored to the Case

Implant Treatment Options

From a single tooth to a full arch, the right approach depends on the case. Every option is planned, placed, and restored by Dr. Schelkopf — designed around the final result.

Single Tooth

Standard Implant Placement

The basic approach to replacing a tooth. This is the standard placement of an implant in a healed space after the tooth has previously been extracted. This may include grafting of the teeth after extraction, but the procedures are simpler and not as technically demanding as other approaches.

Single Tooth · Immediate

Immediate Implant Placement

The gold standard for replacement of a single tooth. This approach allows for optimal and efficient healing, with the entire treatment complete from start to finish in three to four months. Aesthetically, this approach maintains the bone and soft tissue architecture to undetectably replace a natural tooth with an implant and temporary tooth.

Full Arch

All-on-4

The efficient, predictable, and proven approach for replacement of an entire row of teeth (maxillary or mandibular). The teeth are removed, the implants are placed, and a temporary set of teeth are screwed in — all at the same time, in the same operatory. After three months of healing, the final teeth are fabricated and installed to complete the treatment.

Full Arch · Conservative

FP1 Implant Bridge

The gold standard for replacement of an entire row of teeth in the most conservative manner. Similar to the All-on-4 approach — teeth removed, implants placed, and a temporary set of teeth screwed in the same day. Unique to this approach is the design of the prosthetics and the careful management of the bone and soft tissue, maintaining the patient’s natural structures for a more realistic, naturally-aesthetic result.

Where Surgery Meets Prosthetics

Aesthetic implant dentistry, executed at a specialty level.

Dual specialty training is what allows for control of the entire case — from the surgical position of the implant to the contour of the final restoration. Material selection, abutment design, emergence profile, tissue management: every detail of your care is intentional and carefully considered, rooted in clinical science, our personal experience, and our aesthetic expertise.

The Standard is uncompromising

Whether it’s a single front-tooth implant in the most aesthetically demanding zone, or a full-arch reconstruction rebuilding the entire smile, the standard does not change. The same hand designs the case, places the implant, and delivers the final result — governed by the same vision from beginning to end.

Frequently Asked

Implant questions.

How long does implant treatment take from start to finish?
It depends on the case. Many front-tooth implants can be removed, placed, and temporized in a single appointment, with the final crown delivered a few months later once the gum has matured. Full-arch reconstruction can range from a same-day “teeth-in-a-day” result to a multi-stage protocol depending on bone, tissue, and aesthetics. Dr. Schelkopf will walk you through the exact timeline at consultation.
Do you place the implant and restore it yourself?
Yes. Dr. Schelkopf is dual-trained — surgically and prosthetically — and personally performs both the surgery and the restoration. The result is a single point of accountability from beginning to end and an implant positioned precisely where the final restoration will live.
Can my failing tooth be replaced the same day?
In many cases, yes. The “immediate placement” technique allows the failing tooth to be removed and the implant placed in the same appointment, with a custom temporary delivered the same day. This preserves the bone and gum architecture and dramatically shortens treatment. Candidacy depends on the condition of the surrounding tissues and is determined at consultation.
Will my implant look natural?
That is the entire goal. A well-executed implant restoration is indistinguishable from a real tooth — it emerges through the gum with the correct contour, the correct height, and a natural transition into the gum line. Achieving that look is a function of surgical position, tissue management, and ceramic artistry working together.
What are full-arch implants and is the “All-on-4” protocol right for me?
When most or all of the teeth in an arch are failing, full-arch implant treatment can restore the entire smile on a small number of implants — typically four to six per arch. We offer the full range of approaches, including All-on-4 / Teeth-in-a-Day, FP1 fixed reconstructions, and traditional hybrid prostheses. The right approach for you depends on bone, tissue, aesthetics, function, and your goals, and is determined at consultation.
Do you treat patients traveling from out of state?
Yes — most patients who come to us fly in from out of state, and a portion travel internationally. Your treatment plan and visit cadence will be coordinated around your travel for your convenience.
